Abstract

The aim of the study has been to investigate how female and male doctoral students view their learning outcome during their time as doctoral students and to investigate the role of gender in the PhD students’ experiences of their own learning. Semi-structured interviews of approximately 25 minutes each have been used as a method for data collection. 10 PhD students have been chosen systematically among PhD students who have completed at least two years of their education and are enrolled at either Lund University or Copenhagen University.
