Clarifying wave behavior via Reconstruction of Variational Technique in Finding the Analytical Solutions

Abstract

A new algorithm in finding the approximate solutions for the linear and nonlinear equations using only few terms is applied. This algorithm named Reconstruction of Variational Iteration Method (RVIM) overcomes the difficulty arising in calculating nonlinear terms. The RVIM technique provides us a simple way to ensure the convergence of solution series, so that we can always get accurate enough approximations. Also, it is independent of any small parameters at all. The method is capable of reducing the size of calculation and easily overcomes the difficulty of the perturbation technique or Adomian polynomials. The RVIM technique has been successfully applied to many nonlinear problems in science and engineering. All of these verify the great potential and validity of the RVIM technique in comparison with Variational Iteration Method (VIM) for strongly nonlinear problems in science and engineering. In this article the authors have applied this new method to several numbers of wave equations.
