About Erin W. Hodgson

I am an extension entomologist at Iowa State University. My research and extension are focused in field crops, with an emphasis in IPM and sustainable cropping,focusing on improving corn and soybean production by using IPM tactics to protect yield and increase overall farmer profits. Among other projects, I oversee insecticide efficacy evaluations for soybean aphid, Japanese beetle, and aphids in corn and manage emerging field crop pests and invasive species.
