∗ NWSA is a nationally recognized BFA conservatory program in the heart of downtown Miami. NWSA is comprised of diverse cohort of students from various cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. 

∗ Erin Schmidt was part of a group of teachers who used Augusto Boal’s Forum Theatre as a template to create issue based theatrical curriculum for the various acting classes that served to connect the students with the community and work to build bridges through art.
