About Erica Castaneda

I am currently working on an Honors In The Major case study investigating camera footage obtained from the Nambiti Private Game Reserve. I hope to determine identification kits and home ranges of the leopards living in Nambiti to aid the reserve in their leopard conservation efforts. Previously, I conducted independent research with the Science & Planning In Conservation Ecology lab within the Biology Department. My research focused on the effect of traffic noise on the feeding behavior of Cuban Tree frog tadpoles. My future goals include attending veterinary school and continuing to serve as an advocate for animal welfare and conservation.
