Dr. Strauss studies the biological and human social dynamics of urban ecosystems, behavioral ecology of animals in urbanizing habitats and public engagement in the doing and teaching of science
Strauss received his Ph.D. in Biology from Tufts University in 1990 and holds a B.A. in Mass Communication received from Emerson College in 1981.
