About Eric Bickel

My research focus is decision making under uncertainty. My research topics have included: decision analysis, analytics for decision making, modeling of probabilistic dependence, auditing and scoring of expert forecasts, copulas and maximum entropy, corporate and individual risk preference, value of information, applications of decision analysis to business and public policy—especially oil and gas exploration and climate/energy policy, applications of decision analysis and analytics to strategy in sport.
My teaching focus includes: Decision analysis, real options, probability, engineering finance.
