Senior Instructor II, Intensive English Language Program
Eowyn Ferey holds the rank of Senior Instructor 2 in the Intensive English Language Program at Portland State University. She began her career in 2002 in Seoul, South Korea, where she taught English and worked as a curriculum designer and teacher trainer. In the United States, she has worked in community ESL, with immigrant and refugee children, and with university learners of academic English. As a member of the IELP, she has also delivered teacher training and served as the Academic Coordinator of an international teacher training program. Her areas of scholarly interest include teacher training, curriculum design, and best practices in grammar and reading instruction.
