Abstract

Interventions for cervical radiculopathy include traction, exercises, and pharmacological management. Nerve mobilizations have also been advocated as treatment for patients with cervical radiculopathy. Current literature reports that nerve mobilizations reduce intraneural edema and reduce mechanosensitivity. The isolated effects of passive nerve mobilizations for cervical radiculopathy are unknown due to a lack of research or the concurrent use of several interventions. The purpose of this case study is to report the immediate effects of passive upper limb tension testing (ULTT) 1 nerve mobilizations in a patient with cervical radiculopathy.
