Abstract

Knee extension/flexion mobilization has been shown to decrease pain and improve function in knee OA patients. However, many knee OA patients have knee valgus deformity and yet there is no literature reporting on using varus mobilization to treat them. The purpose of this study was to report the use of knee varus mobilization in 2 patients who have knee varus mobility deficits. This mobilization has shown to be effective for patients with meniscus derangement, but has not been presented for the patient with osteoarthritis.
