Abstract
Article excerpt:
Meditation, if defined as conceptual and contemplative practices, is only a subset within a
wide range of Daoist cultivation practices. However, if we broaden the category of meditation to
include practices that ultimately aim for the human to become highly synchronized, if not
actually returning to the state of oneness with the cosmos, then we can also include many inner
alchemy and even martial art-type popular practices as Daoist meditations.
