About Emily Cokeley

Dr. Emily Cokeley is an Assistant Professor in the Accountancy Department at ETSU. She received her PhD in Business Administration, Accountancy from Syracuse University in 2018. She comes to ETSU by way of Rochester Institute of Technology, where she was a visiting scholar for seven years. Dr. Cokeley has been a licensed CPA in New York State since 2008 and received a CPA license for Tennessee in 2021. Prior to her career in academia, Dr. Cokeley gained experience as an auditor with both a Big 4 firm and a regional firm. Her clients ranged from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses, non-profits, and municipalities.
