About Emily Bryan

Emily Bryan, Ph.D is an Assistant Professor of English in the Languages and Literature Department and Lecturer of Catholic Studies at Sacred Heart University. Dr. Bryan was a Fulbright Scholar and has taught at Northwestern, Brown, West Point and Dominican College. She is also a Shakespearean scholar and her research and publications also focus on Early Modern Drama, gender performance, religious theater and women's writing. Dr. Bryan is interested in theater production and technologies on stage as well as in the classroom. She is an active board member of Shakespeare on the Sound in Norwalk, CT.
