About Elizabeth A. Russell

Elizabeth Russell joined the Fogler Library Special Collections Department in August 2014. She serves as an archivist and special collections librarian, primarily working on archival processing and the uploading archival finding aids to the internet so that researchers can more easily discover them. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and art history from Providence College and a Master of Library and Information Studies with a concentration in special collections, manuscripts, and archives from the University of Rhode Island. Before returning to Maine, Elizabeth was an archivist at Michigan Technological University Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections in Houghton, Michigan and collections cataloger for Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Connecticut.
