About Elizabeth Henneman

Elizabeth Henneman has expertise as a researcher, educator and critical care clinician. She has developed simulations and evaluation instruments that have been used in both research and educational settings with nursing students, novice nurses, and experienced nurses. She has been the PI on studies related to error recovery and eye-tracking as a method of providing training and feedback during debriefing session. She has also been a Co-PI on 3 NSF grants. She has worked collaboratively with many interdisciplinary teams on research and educational projects, most recently related to improving patient safety using eye-tracking technology. She also has extensive experience mentoring and overseeing graduate and undergraduate students. She has a strong track record of disseminating her work in peer-reviewed journals.
