About Elizabeth Berenguer

Elizabeth E. Berenguer directs the upper level writing program at Campbell Law. A Cuban-American who writes in both English and Spanish, she joined Campbell Law in the fall of 2016 after serving as an associate professor and director of the legal skills and professionalism program at Savannah Law School. Her teaching responsibilities include Legal Writing, Research, and Advocacy, Appellate Advocacy, Pre-Trial, and Transactional Drafting. She has also served as the director of Savannah’s trial and moot court advocacy teams.

Prior to academia, Berenguer was a trial lawyer with the Office of the Public Defender in Florida where she represented clients in both misdemeanor and felony cases. She earned her J.D. and bachelor’s degree from Mercer University.
