Assessing Needs, Developing Relationships & Scaling Your Program: Supporting media assignments at Providence College
NERCOMP workshop (2019)
  • Liza A Tietjen, Providence College
Abstract
Evaluating student and faculty technology and support needs, cultivating relationships with faculty and other campus partners, and developing some basic consultation services can be the most effective components of a successful program to support media assignments in the classroom. Through the lens of Providence College’s program, we’ll discuss challenges and successes, as well as ideas for beginning, promoting, assessing, and scaling a media assignment support program.
