About M. Elizabeth Downing-Turner

M. Elizabeth Downing-Turner, MLIS has been working in libraries and archives for more than a decade. She is currently an Assistant Professor and Digital Curation Librarian at Forsyth Library and teaches in the Masters of Liberal Studies program at Fort Hays State University. She received her B.A. in History from Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas and her Masters of Library and Information Science from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Ms. Downing-Turner specializes in digitization, digital preservation, and metadata creation and control. She has served as a consultant for archival and digitization projects all across the United States and in China.
