About Ekaterina Pivovarova

Dr. Ekaterina (Kate) Pivovarova is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Division of Law and Psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She obtained her PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Forensics, at Fordham University. She went on to complete a clinical Forensic Psychology Fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Pivovarova obtained further cross-disciplinary training as a Research Fellow at the Center for Law, Brain and Behavior at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Pivovarova’s research has examined clinical decision-making, psychometric properties of psycholegal instruments, and bioethics issues. She is a licensed psychologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
