About Efrat Friedman

Efrat Friedman, M.F.A., is Instructor of creative writing at Halmos College of Arts and Sciences. She teaches courses in introduction to fiction writing, advanced fiction, historical fiction, and poetry, and has also taught composition, research writing, business writing, and how to teach creative writing. She is the author of the instructional creative writing blog fabulousfictionfinds, and the founder of the Pen to Purpose visiting author series. Professor Friedman received her Master of Fine Arts from Florida Atlantic University with a focus on fiction writing and Victorian Literature, and a Bachelor of Arts from Yeshiva University in English Communications.
Professor Friedman has won the Adjunct Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award and always impresses upon her students the advantages of strong writing and communication skills.
