Senior Lecturer
Ong Ee Ing is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Law at Singapore Management University. Her primary areas of teaching are Ethics & Social Responsibility and Legal Research & Writing.
Ee Ing studied English & American Literature at Brown University, and graduated in 1999 with both a Bachelor of Arts (Honors), magna cum laude, and a Master of Arts in that subject. After graduation, she worked at the Singapore Ministry of Defence (Defence Policy Office) for 3 years before leaving to study law at the George Mason University School of Law. While there, she was appointed the Article Selection Editor at the George Mason University Civil Rights Law Journal. She graduated with a Juris Doctor (cum laude) in 2006.
Ee Ing completed a clerkship with the Hon. Peter B. Krauser (now Chief Judge) of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, before returning to Singapore in 2008 to join the international law firm of Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy LLP (Milbank).
