Abstract
The linkage here described was devised in order to provide a simple means of gauging the profiles of involute spur gears, and is the subject of Patent Application 143/41. It comprises two members only, and , if these are adjusted in proportion to the relevant base-circles, the one mechanism can be used to gauge gears of any diameter within a range of about three to one
