A Constant-Resistance.Network
Electronic Engineering (1960)
  • Edmund Ramsay Wigan, BBC Research Department
By a simple modification, the bridged-T constant resistance network can he transformed into a constant-resistance universal shunt, adjustable on decimal basis; a three-decade l kOhm shunt is described which has a maximum shunting ratio of 11·111/1·0 and is adjustable in steps of 0·001. Between these steps continuous interpolation ca be made, the accuracy of which is discussed.
