Currently, digitization has become a demand and need of all fields and industries. In the last two decades, there is plenty of evidence showing how small businesses have managed to improve their performance, surpassing many companies that are in business for many years. Exactly the use and application of information technology has made these businesses improve their business models and business processes by becoming agile digitized businesses. Forecasts also show that many other industry sectors are expected to face similar challenges in the future. Public and private institutions, governments, academies, hospitals, banks, insurance and pension companies are under pressure from small innovative companies that apply efficient digitized models. Small businesses act with the utmost readiness by acting fast flexibly in terms of digitizing their business processes, and by creating digital platforms for other industries. On the other hand, traditional companies to a considerable extent show stiffness and inability to address the challenges of the digitalization process, sometimes even resisting to co-operate in terms of digitalization of enterprise processes. This research examines the enabling factors of digitalization and provides with the tool aimed at supporting businesses in the developing countries to transform their business processes. The research uses the quantitative and qualitative research method and multiatribute analyses of results.
