Trump vs. Puerto Rico: Bigotry in Action

Abstract
Two days ago, we learned of President Trump’s interest in “selling” Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria ravaged the territory. “Shocking, but not surprising” is the all-too-often-used refrain for Trump’s offenses. But this case evinces more: It exemplifies Trump’s worldview of people of color, especially those who cannot defend themselves.
