Abstract
In addressing the related matters of health, marriage, and financial contexts, this essay provides an examination of the cultural history and personal experiences affecting the lives of LGBTQ+ people in the United States of America. To be specific, this peer-reviewed study offers research and commentary about the socio-political challenges that LGBTQ+ people have encountered during the late twentieth and early twenty-first centuries.
