This Research work focused on the role of interactive web-based tools in enhancing teaching effectiveness using Penzu. The study shed light on the nature of the concept of teaching effectiveness, web-based tools while relevant meanings from various authors were considered. Also, the relevance and role of Penzu at enhancing teaching effectiveness in schools were considered. A sample of one hundred respondents consisting of 50 male and 50 female were randomly selected in the study area for this research work. A self-constructed achievement test item was used as a major instrument for data collection and the SPSS statistical tool was adopted to test the hypotheses that were generated for the study. The study revealed that there is a significant difference between students taught with Penzu and those students taught with the traditional method of teaching. Conclusions were made that web-based tools fosters teaching learning process and also offer several promising solutions to the challenges that everyday teachers face with respect to using technology. It was recommended that teachers should intensify their effort in the use of interactive web-based tools to enhance student learning in schools and schools should be provided with the required facilities and infrastructure that will aid teaching and learning with web-based tools.
