Abstract
There is a growing Orthodox Jewish population in the United States and Canada. Many Orthodox Jewish families have a large number of children and choose to breastfeed. The Orthodox Jew observes Jewish laws and customs literally as dictated by the Torah and consult a rabbi in making major decisions including those related to infant feeding. This population is known to donate and obtain milk through informal sharing. This one-hour, complimentary webinar will describe the lived experience of Orthodox Jewish women who make the decision to informally milk share.
