Political parties were established as a result of different societies ‘articulated needs, and for this reason they are a product of different processes of changing societies. This means that with the advance and development of the society there came to surface the interests of different groups. As a support to these interests, also because of the political development, we have the creation of ideologies, of the political parties, starting with the interests of land owners, industrialists, syndicates and up to environmental issues. The appearance of different interests groups, have made it possible for political parties to play an irreplaceable role in the establishment of democracy. As so, this dissertation mainly deals with the relevant political Albanian parties’ programs in the Western Balkans.

Therefore, during the research there will be shown three topics, or to be more precise the purpose of this research is focused mainly on social, ethnic and Euro-Atlantic component. In this context, all programs, respectively political parties’ documents that have to do with the above mentioned topics, will be analyzed.

On the one hand, the purpose of this study and the selection of these topics, is done in order to deliver the outlook of Albanian political parties‘ programs, and on the other hand, it is because these reasons that political parties‘ programs are appropriate to identify the values and basic objectives to social, ethnic or national and European politics.

For this reason Albanian political parties have a central role in the development of the new democracy specifically in the “Albanian areas“ in the Balkans by identifying the policies in the differences such as in social issues, ethnic, etc. Albanian Political parties can be seen as a promoter that can have influence the increase of political consciousness, social, state, constitutional and national importance. So, as a result of the engagement of different political groupings there can be an influence in political processes.
