About Douglas C. Michael

Douglas C. Michael joined the faculty in 1989, having previously practiced law with Arnold & Porter in Washington, D.C. from 1987 to 1989 and the Securities and Exchange Commission from 1983 to 1987. He is a graduate of Stanford University and holds M.B.A. and J.D. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley. While at Berkeley, he was a member of the California Law Review and was elected to Coif.
Professor Michael has been a consultant for the Administrative Conference of the United States, and has published a casebook, Legal Accounting: Principles and Applications and articles in the areas of corporate, securities and administrative law in journals including the Journal of Corporation Law and the Yale Journal on Regulation.
