About Douglas Hodgson

My career as a legal educator has spanned 32 years and four countries (Canada, England, Australia and New Zealand). I have published four treatises and 30 peer-reviewed law journal articles and received numerous teaching citations. I am a peer reviewer and grants assessor for the Australian Research Council and a grants assessor for the Marsden Fund (administered by the Royal Society of New Zealand). I am also an attender and alumnist of the Oxford Round Table (by invitation only) and have contributed to the German-based Max Planck Encyclopedia of Public International Law published by Oxford University Press. I serve on the University's Academic Council, Research Committee, Academic Promotions Committee and am Chair of the Research Degrees and Scholarships Committee.
