Abstract

An interview with Susannah Heschel, daughter of Jewish thinker Abraham Joshua Heschel, is presented. Heschel cites the reaction of the Jewish community to her father's involvement with Nostra Aetate and among Catholics. She points out that political-moral connection was the reason her father went to Selma and aligned himself with the civil rights movement.
