About Donald Eagerton, FACE, FACP

Dr. Donald Eagerton is originally from Summerton, South Carolina. He received his Medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in 1989 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at North Carolina Baptist Hospital (Bowman Gray School of Medicine) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina followed by a Fellowship in Endocrinology at MUSC. At the end of his Fellowship, Dr. Eagerton joined the faculty of the MUSC Division of Endocrinology as a Clinical Instructor and later as Assistant Professor of Medicine. He also served as co-director of the MUSC Center of Thyroid Disease. Dr. Eagerton is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. Dr. Eagerton, his wife, Jamie, and children, Thomas, Matthew and Rebecca reside in Myrtle Beach.
