Associate Professor
Don Liu received his Ph.D. (2004) and M.S. (2000) in applied mathematics from the Division of Applied Mathematics, Brown University, and his B.Sc. in thermal fluid engineering from Southeastern University. Dr. Liu was a tenure-track Assistant Professor in 2006 at Louisiana Tech University, became a tenured Associate Professor in August 2012, and received his Contractor's Trust Endowed Professorship in October, 2014.
My research interests include computational mathematics, computational fluids dynamics, numerical heat and mass transfer, computational partial differential equations, high order finite element simulations, high performance computing and parallel computing.

About Don Liu
