About Don Cox

Don Cox, professor of finance and BB&T Distinguished Chair in Money & Banking, has taught courses in banking, investments, financial management and international finance. He received a North Carolina Board of Governors Teaching Excellence Award (2003) and the Outstanding Teaching Award for the Walker College of Business at Appalachian State University (2000). Don’s research interests are in stock market efficiency and corporate finance. He has published articles in the Journal of Finance and Journal of Investing, among others.
