Professional Biography
Dr. Dominic Thomas   has been an educator at Texas Southern University for over 13 years and is currently an Assistant Professor with graduate faculty status in the Department of Educational Administration and Foundations in the College of Education. He earned his doctorate (Ed.D.) in Educational Administration specializing in Higher Education from Texas Southern University in Houston Texas. He earned his master’s (M.A.) in Mass Communication and bachelor’s (B.A.) degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from Southern University A&M in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Dr. Thomas currently teaches four doctoral level courses in the department and is also an academic advisor, graduate recruiter, serves on various university, departmental, and College of Education Committees. He also assists with administrative duties and responsibilities in the absence of the Chair.
