Political Engagement and Service-learning: A Gandhian Perspective

Abstract

This article is divided into three sections. First, I will discuss the recent concerns over political disengagement in the United States. Next, I will explore the Gandhian notion of service and political engagement. Finally, I will present an outline of the principles of practicing political engagement through service learning, pointing out the challenges we face and the opportunities we have.
