About Diba Malekpour Koupaei

Diba Malekpour Koupaei holds master’s degrees in Civil Engineering (2020) and Sustainable Environments (2018) from Iowa State University and received her bachelor’s degree from Art University of Isfahan in Architectural Engineering (2015). Over the course of past years, her main research activities have all been concerned with energy efficiency in the built environment, specifically high-performance residential buildings in the rural and urban landscapes. As of August 2018, she has been an active member of the Sustainable Cities multidisciplinary research group, where she follows her passion for integrating the human dimension of energy consumption into the efficiency equation for mitigating and adoption to climate change. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate in the department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering at Iowa State University.
