Transition for students with special needs from primary to secondary settings, assistive technology (including iPads), and attitudes towards inclusive education, Involved with UNESCO in Telecollaboration for EFA and ESD with teacher educators from the Asia-Pacific region, and Currently supervising three (3) PhD students and one Master of Philosophy student.

- Recipient of the WA Institute of Educational Research [WAIER] Postgraduate Award 2012.
- Recipient of the Fogarty Foundation Prize 2004 for highest achievement in Master of Education (Learning Difficulties).
