About Dianne Bryant

Dr. Dianne Bryant is a Professor in the School of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Health Sciences and in the Department of Surgery at the University of Western Ontario. She is also a Part-time Assistant Professor in the Department of Clinical Epidemiology & Biostatistics at McMaster University and the Director of Empower Health Research Inc.  

She is recognized as an outstanding researcher demonstrating leadership and creativity in the development of study methodology to facilitate research in surgery and rehabilitation. She is a highly skilled methodologist and an expert in conducting systematic reviews, randomized trials, diagnostic validity studies, risk factor identification, surveys and cohort studies. Her research has been recognized with awards from the Cochrane Review Incentive Scheme in the UK and was nominated for the Richard Caspari Award by The International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine in 2009
