The Yale Historical Sound Recording Collection contains many recordings on 78 rpm of Vesti la giubba among its many treasures.  With examples ranging from the original Italian to a 1920s version in Russian, Alexandr Rozanov, tenor, this presentation would compare and contrast the treatment of this well-known aria by a variety of tenors in several languages.  Labels include Artiphon, as well as Beka and Columbia.
