Abstract

Presents a visual method designed to assist counseling practitioners in the development of client problem conceptualizations. A visual display of 9 information categories essential for counseling conceptualization is introduced. The categories are described and conceptual relationships between them are cited, discussed, and displayed using a 2nd visual technique with a case example of a test-anxious female undergraduates. Suggestions are included for use of the technique at prepracticum, beginning practicum, and advanced levels of training.
