Memories of Maine: Wedgwood's Historic College and University Plates

Abstract
The firm of Jones, McDuffee & Stratton launched an effort to work with alumni associations throughout the eastern United States to develop commemorative plates featuring campus scenes. As noted in this article, a series for the University of Maine was developed around the year 1940, and a set was donated to Special Collections by former Fogler Library director, Louis T. Ibbotson.
