About Denise A. Kaiser

Denise A. Kaiser, Ph.D. is an Adjunct Instructor in the History Department of Sacred Heart University. Professor Kaiser was recruited to Sacred Heart University in 2007 with the inception of the common core curriculum and has since joined the First-Year Seminar Program. In both she has brought to bear a deep commitment to furthering students’ knowledge of medieval history and early western civilization, and their acquisition of college-level critical thinking and academic skills.

Education: BA Barnard College, NY; MA Centre for Medieval Studies, University of Toronto; Ph.D. Columbia University.
