Abstract
“Inclusive Language” is thrown around often and it’s easy to feel that anything you say might be considered taboo; however, communicating effectively in personal and professional settings requires us to be aware of how our language impact those around us. Join us for a presentation on what inclusive language really means, the benefits of adopting it in personal and professional settings, and why it matters (Spoiler: it does!). You’ll end the session with strategies for incorporating inclusive language into your life and work.
