About Denise Williams-Klotz

Denise Williams-Klotz is the Assistant Director of Multicultural Student Affairs at Iowa State University. She works  students from diverse backgrounds, especially those from underrepresented populations. Denise earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in and sociology and English in 2004, earned her M. Ed. degree in College Student Affairs Administration from the University of Georgia, and completed her PhD in Higher Education from Iowa State University‘s School of Education in 2015.  Her research focuses on the transition experiences of military and veteran students, particularly students of color.
