Abstract
The review discusses a book by Theodore N. Levterov. The book constitutes his doctoral dissertation which he submitted to the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University. Levterov’s evaluates and analyzes the development of Seventh-day Adventists’ understanding of the doctrine of the gift of prophecy and Ellen White’s particular prophetic claim from 1844 to 1889.
