Debra Rosenthal received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from Princeton University in 1995, and specializes in 19th and 20th-century literature, African American literature, women’s literature, alcohol in literature, and environmental literature. From 2005-2006, Dr. Rosenthal was a Visiting Fellow at St. Catherine’s College at Oxford University. In 2016 she won JCU’s Lucrezia Culicchia Award for Teaching Excellence.
