Abstract

Although there has been a substantial increase in published research about interprofessional education for future health care providers in recent years, little has been published about students conducting interprofessional research using an interprofessional model. To help address this gap, a community research consortium developed a set of interprofessional research guidelines to enhance both the learning experiences of health care providers and students and provide a strong research foundation for future interprofessional projects. The guidelines were adapted from the Interprofessional Education Collaborative Core Competencies.
