Professional Biography
Dr. Deborah M. Wilson  is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling. Dr. Wilson is a graduate of Texas Southern University, having earned an M.A. in Guidance and Counseling and her Doctor of Education degree in Counselor Education. Dr. Wilson completed undergraduate studies at Fort Valley State University with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. In addition, she completed the College Business Management Institute at University of Tennessee at Nashville. Dr. Wilson has presented at various conferences on various topics impacting the African-American community, in rural settings including substance abuse and mental health, HIV, homelessness, and parenting and assessment.
